3P Biopharmaceuticals incorporates a LIMS, a Laboratory Information Management Systems

3P Biopharmaceuticals is incorporating a new Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) from Abbott Informatics, a global leader provider of laboratory solutions. The implementation phase is currently in progress together with Abbott Informatics who are also ensuring the specific training required for the completion of each milestone.

LIMS is a comprehensive solution that improves quality and safety throughout the entire product lifecycle: from sample intake to the delivery of accurate results, driving smarter decisions throughout the entire process. It also optimizes data management, accessibility, integrity and long-term value.

In addition, LIMS helps to satisfy GMP requirements thanks to its capacity to guarantee safe access to key organizational data.

This new system will bring greater speed to our processes by reducing the time dedicated to manage information. It assures data integrity and robust data control that can be accessed in a fast and comprehensible way at all times. LIMS optimizes and centralizes the information in a unique database. In short, this system is being incorporated 3P to facilitate and improve its daily activities thereby, improving our customer service.

This acquisition has involved an investment of approximately 200.000 € (system, implementation and associated services) and it is part of an investment plan that 3P is conducting during 2018 with the goal of strengthening its offerings to the biotech international market.
