PharmaMar, a biotechnology subsidiary of Grupo Zeltia — MC:ZEL) has announced that its partner for Japan, Taiho Pharmaceutical Co., LTD., has communicated that the pivotal and registrational study of Yondelis® in soft tissue sarcomas has achieved positive results and therefore Taiho Pharmaceuticals will submit a New Drug Application in the mentioned indication to the Regulatory Authorities in Japan.
Likewise Taiho Pharmaceuticals has communicated PharmaMar that the study data will be presented in ASCO Congress to be held in Chicago from May 30 to June 3, 2014.
