Anaconda BioMed S.L., a pre-clinical stage medical device company focused on the development of the next generation neuro-thrombectomy system for the treatment of Acute Ischemic Stroke (AIS), announced the appointment of Tudor G. Jovin, MD to join its Scientific Advisory Board (SAB). The SAB is expected to serve as a strategic network of scientific and clinical experts to Anaconda BioMed S.L., as the company progresses the development of the ANCD BRAIN® to its clinical phase. The SAB is also expected to be an integral part of the company's strategy as it continues to assess opportunities to expand its pipeline. Dr. Jovin is a Professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery, Director of the UPMC Stroke Institute and Director of the UPMC Center for Neuroendovascular Therapy.
