Pall Corporation Invests $114M to Expand Global Production Capacity

Pall Corporation, a global leader in filtration, separation and purification, is making significant investments in global production capacity to meet industry demands driven by COVID-19. These investments include additional production capacity at six existing manufacturing facilities in Europe and the United States, as well as a new manufacturing facility in the United States.

With these investments, Pall anticipates adding more than 1100 jobs globally now through the end of 2021 and will significantly increase output and reduce lead time for critical biopharmaceutical manufacturing solutions.

The demand for single use technology has increased in recent years and, with the global need for mass manufacturing of a COVID-19 vaccine, there is even more pressure on the existing supply chain. Pall’s new manufacturing facility will be in the United States and will focus primarily on single-use technology such as the Allegro™ single-use platform. These solutions support the rapid development and production of vaccines and therapeutics, including the COVID-19 vaccine.

Pall’s manufacturing facilities in Medemblik, Netherlands; Hoegaarden, Belgium; Bad Kreuznach, Germany; Ilfracombe, UK; Newquay, UK; Fajardo, Puerto Rico; and Pensacola, FL, U.S. will expand Pall’s capacity to produce and distribute single-use technology, media and breathing filters necessary to support the current global pandemic and future industry needs.
