At Miltenyi Biotec, our mission is to advance scientific and medical understanding by providing solutions for cell and gene therapy and biomedical research. We are a global German company, founded in 1989 by Stefan Miltenyi, the current president. Our innovative, pioneering spirit defines us: since our beginnings we have revolutionized the field of biomedical research with the development of MACS® immunomagnetic separation technology, widely used today and a gold standard technique in many laboratories. With this foundation we progressed further into cell therapy, initially focusing on adoptive cell therapy, and later pioneering the manufacturing of advanced therapies such as CAR T cells.
We design, manufacture and commercialize cutting-edge scientific instrumentation, as well as the necessary reagents and consumables, under strict quality standards. This allows us to offer comprehensive workflows for our customers, alongside the best support from our consultants, to maximize the performance of our technologies and applications.
Miltenyi Biotec is a global company with more than 4,900 workers of 72 different nationalities, of which around 25% are dedicated to R&D.
Within the Spanish subsidiary of Miltenyi Biotec, we are a very consolidated team of almost 40 people, which includes administration, scientific and technical service, sales representatives and marketing; most of them with long-lasting experience in the company and within the sector. Our pre-sales and post-sales support staff have an eminently scientific and technical profile and are customer-oriented.

We have a broad portfolio, counting over 19.000 products belonging to different technologies. To complement our separation technology, we also offer solutions for flow cytometry, sample preparation, cell culture, and more recently, imaging systems for ultrahigh-throughput multiomics and 3D imaging. In addition, we have a therapeutic apheresis division. We also provide production of lentiviral vectors and cell therapies under our CDMO division.
