ICN2 participates, since November 2015, in a European collaborative project which aims to accelerate the industrialisation of hybrid nanoporous materials in Europe. The ProDIA project focuses on the development of reliable production methods of nanoporous powders including activation and shaping processes.

The ICN2 Supramoleuclar NanoChemistry & Materials Group, led by ICREA Research Prof. Daniel Maspoch, will contribute to the design nanomaterials applying existing guidance on handling and manufacturing. This group has developed a broad experience in the field of spray-drying synthesis of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs).
