OPERON is a family-owned company based in Aragon, founded in 1973 in the city of Cuarte de Huerva, Zaragoza. It started as a small lab focused on research and development in the field of immunochemistry. It was a pioneer in Spain in launching a rapid pregnancy test. By then, it already had extensive experience in the manufacture of polyclonal antibodies, later monoclonal antibodies, as well as in direct latex agglutination tests. The company began its export activities in 1976 and continues to this day, exporting to more than 60 countries with a workforce of more than 80 people. The company will soon move from its historic location in Cuarte de Huerva to its new headquarters at the Zaragoza Logistics Platform (PLAZA), where it will continue its expansion project in a building that will double the current surface area.

• Molecular diagnosis: OpeGen and Real Time products for the genetic diagnosis of hereditary diseases, food intolerances, sexually transmitted diseases, respiratory diseases, etc.
• Raw materials: large-scale production of monoclonal antibodies and recombinant antigens for the immunoassay and clinical research industry.
• Contract manufacturing: we offer our experience as IVD manufacturers as a service, designing both customized tests for clients and large-scale manufacturing of external designs.
