At Interpack 2023, Telstar promotes integrated solutions for aseptic production lines

Telstar will be actively participating at Interpack in Düsseldorf, during 4-10th May 2023, promoting advanced pharmaceutical process equipment & integrated solutions in isolation technology systems, sterilization, and freeze-drying applications, together with innovative smart developments in the process analytical technology field for pharmaceutical freeze-drying systems and aseptic manufacturing processes.

In the freeze-drying process field the company will disclose among others, Lyogistics Zero the only automatic vial loading & unloading system for freeze-drying processes which can be cleaned (CIP) and sterilized (SIP) in place, inside the freeze-dryer chamber, and Lyogistics Smart Format, a new system using a single mobile platform configured to automatically fit a wide range of vial sizes without the need to disrupt the isolated enclosure. There is no need for manual operations inside the aseptic area when changing formats, and no line clearance operations are required. In addition to this Telstar Sublime will be promoted. It is a new system capable of monitoring the advance of the sublimation front in real time in GMP freeze-dryers. It is a single-use probe, containing five independent temperature sensors which are placed within the vial, including wireless communication, able to monitor the advance of the sublimation front accurately. Finally, Telstar Insights, which is a new Pharma 4.0 IoT Data platform for predictive and preventive maintenance that collects and analyses in real time the operating data of the equipment to anticipate and avoid possible incidents during production, allowing for the generation of a customized specific predictive & preventive maintenance plan.

During the exhibition, the company will also highlight the benefits of the latest sterility test isolators integrated with Telstar’s innovative ionHP+ bio-decontamination system, proven to dramatically decrease cycle times, increase time available for process and reduce running costs, as well as other innovative solutions in sterilization. This encompasses systems and equipment to control contamination, autoclaves for sterilization, steam sterilizers, EtO sterilization chambers and superheated water sterilization autoclaves designed for sterilizing large batches of parenteral solutions, along with developments in automation and process control for sterilization systems by integrating robotized loading and unloading technology. In the field of green engineering, the latest next generation of Telstar’s engineering services for pharmaceutical production, designed to offer greater performance with less environmental impact from the initial design, will also be promoted at Interpack.
