Maria Terrades is the new General Director of the Barcelona Science Park, after her appointment was agreed yesterday by its Board of Trustees, chaired by Universitat de Barcelona Rector Joan Elias. This marks the return of Terrades to the PCB, where she was Managing Director for four years from 2010 to 2014.

Elias wanted to highlight the new Director’s experience in management and finance along with her team and project leadership skills. He also thanked outgoing Director, Ignasi Belda, for everything he has done as head of the PCB.

Terrades has a degree in Economic and Business Sciences from the Universitat de Barcelona and has also completed the IESE’s Management Development Programme. She has worked at companies including PricewaterhouseCoopers and Agbar, where she has been Management Planning and Control Director, Strategic Planning Director and Treasury and Finance Director.
