El Parc Científic de Barcelona participates in BioCores@BCN, is both a search engine and a directory of the core facilities, technological platforms, and scientific services currently to be found in the Barcelona area. This inicitative provides a tool for finding a wide range of cutting-edge and state of the art scientific services, techniques and equipment, to support both biomedical and life sciences research and the scientific community.
The project, promoted by the Centre de Regulació Genòmica (CRG), is open to the addition of more institutions, platforms, technologies, etc., and now the institutions involved are: els Centres Científics i Tecnològics UB (CCiTUB), el Parc Científic de Barcelona (PCB), the Institut de Bioenginyeria de Catalunya (IBEC), the Institut d’Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer (IDIBAPS), the Vall d’Hebron Institut de Recerca (VHIR), the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), the Institut Hospital del Mar d’Investigacions Mèdiques (IMIM), the Institut de Recerca Biomèdica (IRB) and the Centre de Regulació Genòmica (CRG).
This is a non-profit initiative and the institutions are not charged a membership fee for appearing in this directory.
