The USC’s research of excellence, within the framework of the ‘Ciencia Singular’ initiative and through its Singular Centers CiQUS, CiMUS, CiTIUS and IGFAE aims to adress society by celebrating the International Day of the Women and Girls in Science 2021. In online mode, the activity seeks to bring together the experiences of researchers with different profiles and career stages with the aim of promoting scientific vocations. Researchers in the predoctoral and postdoctoral phases, group leaders and directors of the four singular centers of the USC will tell the keys, anecdotes and achievements of their careers in order to awaken the call of science in girls and young people who decide to orient their studies towards different fields of science.

Moderated by the IGFAE communication officer, Elena Mora, the discussion table will have the participation of:

CiTIUS: Paula López, deputy director of CiTIUS

CiQUS: María Giménez, Principal Investigator.

CiMUS: Catarina Allegue, postdoctoral researcher.

IGFAE: María José Gómez, predoctoral researcher.

The activity will take place next Thursday, February 11 at 10 am, and requires registration.
