The specialists of Ventura Medical Technologies traveled to the Hellenic capital last January to train surgeons and implant the first Pectus Up in Greece.

The company that has developed the Pectus Up implant, the new surgical alternative for the treatment of Pectus Excavatum, arranged several training workshops in Athens on this new minimally invasive technique. This training was given to thoracic surgeons specialized in thoracic deformities, specifically in Pectus Excavatum.

The event was organized by the distributor Emergy Products, located in Athens (Greece), which is part of the medicinal products industry in the country. The company has 15 years of experience in caring for people and a large footprint in Hellenic hospitals, with the most innovative products in the sector.

Emergy Products will be the distributor of Pectus Up, both in Greece and Cyprus.

The patient was a 40-year-old man, who is currently convalescing without any complications, as the Pectus Up is the current least invasive and quickest recovery surgical technique for the treatment of Pectus Excavatum.

With the addition of Greece, there are now five European countries using the Pectus Up, along with four on the American continent, thanks to specialized surgeons trained in the technique.

Distributors, hospitals or surgeons interested in learning more about this surgical method, can contact Ventura Medical Technologies to obtain the advice and training needed to offer their patients with Pectus Excavatum the implantation of the Pectus Up with total safety and guarantee.
