In-Cosmetics Global, the leading global event for personal care ingredients was held in Barcelona from 28 to 30 March 2023 and Bicosome, spin-off of the Institute for Advanced Chemistry of Catalonia, was awarded the Bronze title for the Innovation Zone Best Ingredient Award 2023.
The winning active ingredient developed by Bicosome is Bicobiome®, a multi-active ingredient complex that aims to provide an efficient solution for restoring the scalp’s health. Specially indicated for oily scalps prone to dandruff, it targets the main consequences of scalp imbalance: hyperseborrhea, barrier function impairment, and microbiome dysbiosis.
