At ‘IDEACIÓ: Connecting CataloniaBio & HealthTech and Advanced Materials’ held at the headquarters of INNOVAMED in Barberà del Vallès on Friday, Javier presented the new and potential advanced materials being used in 3D bioprinting in the area of regenerative medicine.

Afterwards, several medical technology companies belonging to the clusters introduced the challenges they foresee, with all participants working together to come up with solutions in areas such as biodegradable plastics for the health sector and materials for sensors.

CataloniaBio & HealthTech – a merging of the original two clusters – is an association of companies in the biomedicine and health arena in Catalonia that promotes R&D&i to help generate new products and services in biopharmaceuticals, medical technology and digital health.
