Iden Biotechnology S.L., a Spanish R&D company and the Argentinean company Ingeniería Metabólica (INMET), today announced that they have signed an agreement for the development and licensing of a technology that enables the recovery of the glycerol generated as byproduct in the biodiesel production.
This technology was developed by researchers of Conicet (Argentinean Scientific Council) in collaboration with Iden Biotechnology and has been the subject of a patent application by the Spanish company.
With this agreement, the aim is to optimize the technology and to obtain the license for South America by Inmet.
