We are happy to announce that Mind the Byte has recently moved to the Eixample district, which is a more central location for employees and customers. In the heart of Barcelona, the new office is within walking distance of many iconic places such as Casa Batalló and Plaça de Catalunya. This relocation is the optimal location for Mind the Byte to be able to grow into a stronger company.

Founded in 2011 by Alfons Nonell-Canals, Mind the Byte has been growing and maturing rapidly. It originated in the house of Nonell-Canals, where he stayed for a couple of months as the company was created and refined. Once the company grew, it moved to Biopol’H incubator located on the Bellvitge campus, where Mind the Byte stayed for 6 months before settling up in the Parc Cientific de Barcelona (PCB) in 2012.

The company has enjoyed this location for over 5 years due to the range of services offered. The PCB has been ideal for the development of Mind the Byte as it promotes research from within, which has allowed Mind the Byte to create a stronger brand name, recognition in the field, and refine our products and services. Even several companies within the PCB have reached out to Mind the Byte to utilize our services. This has compiled a stream of customers for Mind the Byte with quick communication between collaborators and customers as we were both located in the same building.

Nonetheless, the company has been doubling the number of staff annually since 2013. This expansion was further enhanced in December 2017 with the acquisition of Intelligent Pharma, which was located one floor below in the same building. This strategic move, however, created a physical separation in the workplace and the need to relocate to be able to keep expanding, as this is crucial for the success of the company.

For this reason, Mind the Byte has recently moved to a new office placed in the 3rd floor of 279 Diputació Street, between Pau Claris St and Passeig de Gràcia. The new installations provide 350 sq. meters of space and are comprised of a big open area for employees, several closed offices, three meeting rooms and a common area. The open environment of the office gives employees the opportunity to easily collaborate and maximize flexibility where the layout of the building can be changed as needed. Likewise, the common room allows for a place to go take a break and relax.
