Pall Corporation Completes Acquisition of Pall-Austar JV

Pall Corporation, an operating company within Danaher Corporation’s Life Sciences platform filtration, separation and purification technologies, has finalized a shareholding acquisition of Pall-Austar Lifesciences Limited, a joint venture (JV) established by Pall and Austar. This acquisition will expand manufacturing capacity to primarily support single-use technology supply chain demand in China, driven by COVID-19.

The COVID-19 pandemic triggered a surge in demand for products that support vaccine manufacture scale-up. The Pall-Austar JV acquisition directly addresses this challenge by expanding Pall’s single-use technology manufacturing capabilities in China, which will increase output and reduce lead time for critical biopharmaceutical solutions.
