The Drug Development Service (SDM) of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Barcelona, in collaboration with the Ojer Pharma Laboratories and the Tecnalia Research & Innovation Foundation, has received a grant in the 2015 "Retos-Colaboración" call to carry out the PRODERMA project: ‘Joint Development of a sustained-release matrix for the treatment of Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFUs).’ The project, led by Dr. Josep Maria Suñé Negre (UB), seeks to improve the efficiency of conventional topical treatments through the use of an innovative technique for the transport and topical administration of active ingredients.
