The Neuro-Com Group from the Department of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising at the UAB and the Spanish Radio Television Institute, with the involvement of the UAB's Sports Research Institute (IRE), currently are conducting a study of the perception and emotions citizens feel when viewing the images used to illustrate the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which causes COVID-19, in different audiovisual and media channels.

The objective is to extract conclusions to help improve information accuracy, quality in scientific dissemination and provide tools to communication professionals who must take into account the emotional effect this pandemic, and other similar crises which may arise in the future, can have on society.

To participate in this study, those interested must fill in a 15-20 minutes questionnaire. All data will be anonymous and will go towards discovering how different formal elements of the figures representing the COVID-19 virus are perceived by audiences.
