At Expoquimia, Telstar promotes GMP digitization solutions and process automation for the pharma industry. Together with a new generation of equipment for formulation and R&D.

Telstar will be present at Expoquimia (Barcelona, May 30 / June 2, 2021) with its latest developments in the field of aseptic technology, as well as GMP digitalization solutions and process automation for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, laboratories, and research centers.

Telstar new applications are designed to facilitate the improvement of productive efficiency in the pharmaceutical industry, the automation of their operational processes and the management of operational excellence in the context of digital transformation. Thus, the company will give a boost to its offer of services in the field of GMP digitization and the IoT platform for predictive maintenance. Applications such as DiSQ and Insights are some of the most representative. DiSQ is the new software that allows effective, comprehensive, and fully digitalized management of documents and procedures qualification and validation, optimizing the life cycle of the process. While Insights is the new IoT platform for predictive and preventive maintenance that, in a non-intrusive way, collects and analyzes functional data from production equipment in real time designed to anticipate and avoid possible incidents during production.

In addition, the company will also be displaying Sublime, an innovative wireless system capable of monitoring in real time the progress of the sublimation front in GMP freeze-drying processes that has already become a benchmark within PAT technology for this technology. At the same time, Telstar will unveil its state-of-the-art engineering Green Engineering services for pharmaceutical manufacturing, designed to deliver higher performance with lower environmental impact from the initial design.

Solutions for formulation and R&D

In the Laboratory field, Telstar will be promoting BiOptima, a range of compact & ergonomic class II microbiological biosafety cabinets suitable for the manipulation of samples with biological risk level 2 and 3, which is integrated with ZEROCOAT, a new antimicrobial bacteriological barrier that completely protects the work surface. The company will also unveil LyoQuest Arctic, an innovative bench-top laboratory freeze dryer that integrates pre-freezing, primary drying and secondary drying processes avoiding the use of conventional HFC or HFO cooling gases and LyoBeta Mini, a compact pilot-scale freeze dryer specifically intended for small scale formulation, research, and development work designed with a condenser capacity 6 Kg which is separate from the product chamber. Finally, Boreas will also be on display, a -86º ultra-low-temperature freezers designed to increase average performance by 20%, while ensuring the integrity of the cold preservation process. Equipped VIP with vacuum panels, the freezer provides an enlarged storage capacity of up to 30%.
