The Regional Quantitative Analysis Group (AQR) started a series of analysis on the effects of different local factors in the spread of the COVID-19 in Catalonia.

The first published study, which quantifies the impact of the population density, concludes that the COVID-19 spread is faster in areas that concentrate high volume of population. There are two studies analysing the meteorological and pollution conditions. In this case, the results show that the spread goes faster in cold and dry climate areas. Last, another article was conducted on the social and economic situation of the territory.

The studies are available in the AQR website.
