Toni Gabaldón, ICREA research professor and group leader of the Comparative Genomics laboratory, has been elected President of the Spanish Society for Evolutionary Biology (SESBE) for 2018-2019.

SESBE is a non-profit national scientific society gathering together Spanish scientists and people interested in biology and evolution. It promotes evolutionary biology in Spain at many different levels: from organising scientific meetings and conferences to promoting evolutionary biology amongst the general public.

We wish Toni Gabaldón all the best in his new responsibility!
